Baby Teething
Teething is a natural phenomena in growing babies. Generally, baby teething has no pattern on when it will begin, how long it will take, or how painful it can be for babies. Baby teething has a certain hereditary pattern. This means that if both parents experienced early or late teething, there is a big chance that their baby follows the same pattern.
The symptoms of teething actually vary from one baby to another. Below are some of the common symptoms of baby teething:

Baby Drooling
- Drooling
- Irritability
- Chin rash
- Cold and fever symptoms
Too much drooling is normal for babies who are three to four months old. This is a strong indication that the baby is already teething.
Once you baby starts to grow teeth, his gums may become too painful and sore, thus, making your baby very irritable and fussy.
As your baby drools, it goes down to his chin, thus, causing rashes to his skin. You can always wipe your baby’s chin and mouth periodically to avoid skin rashes.
Your baby may feel hot and may have runny nose as well as coughing.
The next things you need to know about baby teething is how to ease your baby’s teething pain. The following are some tips that you can do to give your baby teething pain relief:

Baby Teething Stuff
- Let your baby chew
- Give your baby cold water
- Apply teething gel
- Rub your baby’s gums
- Take your baby to the doctor
You may give your baby something that he can chew, like teething rings or rubber toys. You can opt to put these things on the freezer to chill, for the cold can further ease his mouth and gums.
Drinking small amounts of cold water can ease your baby’s teething pain and discomfort.
You can apply teething gel to your baby’s gum to numb the sore and painful areas.
You can use your fingers or a chilled spoon to massage or rub your baby’s gums.
Ask for prescription or over-the-counter pain reliever that your baby can take to reduce pain.
